How We Got Here

Look, we started Emberion Astralis because we were tired of seeing companies struggle with the same hiring mistakes over and over. Back in 2015, our founder was working at a big consulting firm and kept watching talented leaders get passed over while mediocre candidates somehow landed C-suite roles.

So we broke away and did something different. Instead of pushing resumes around, we actually got to know people - what makes them tick, what they're really good at, not just what's on paper.

Ten years later, we've placed over 300 executives and helped dozens of organizations completely transform their leadership teams. And yeah, we're pretty proud of that.

Our Journey Through the Stars

2015 - Launch

Started in a cramped Montreal office with just three of us and a dream. We had more coffee than clients, but we believed there was a better way to match talent with opportunity.

2018 - Expansion

Grew to a team of 12 and landed our first Fortune 500 client. That's when we realized we weren't just filling positions anymore - we were genuinely changing organizations from the inside out.

2021 - Evolution

Launched our Leadership Development Programs after clients kept asking "can you help us keep great people, not just find them?" Turns out, retention's just as important as recruitment.

2023 - Recognition

Named one of Canada's top executive search firms. More importantly, 87% of our placements were still thriving in their roles after two years - that's the stat we're actually proud of.

2025 - Today

We're 30+ strong now, working across Canada with some incredible organizations. We've learned a ton, made plenty of mistakes, and we're still figuring stuff out. But that's kinda the point.
